July 3rd. So nice to be off the day job today. Got my butt out of bed for Nia (George Michael *and* Martin Luther King? Who’d have thunk?). Had lunch with my bff at Taco Milagro (sweet potato and Swiss chard enchiladas – I know, it sounds weird, but so awesome like the moon). And I’m working on this site, which is slowly coming around to resemble something related to me. Key word: slowly.
About to hop off the admin wagon, though — I have words to write on the new novel, which so far looks to be about a girl named Eve who is a bloodhound (tracker) for a magical underworld crime boss, her (literally) hypnotizing partner-in-crime and would-be boyfriend, Lincoln, and her obnoxious little brother Orpheus. They’ve gotta find the boss’s missing wife if they want to live. Time, of the essence.
